Marion Marlin

Marion Evan Marlin, 73, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in Panhandle.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28th at Panhandle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. Viewing will begin Sunday, December 26th from noon until service time on Tuesday.

Mr. Marlin was born on December 17, 1937 in Colorado and had been a Panhandle resident since 1977. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Mona Kay Thompson on September 28, 1962 in Panhandle, and she preceded him in death in 1999. He was a truck driver and a Baptist.

He is survived by his son Mikal Marlin of Independence, MO, daughter Marhonda Yarger of Panhandle, two brothers John Marlin of Wyoming, Henry Marlin of Arkansas, seven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
