Mark Ferdenand Baker, 55, of Borger, passed away, Tuesday, November 1, 2011.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at Dakes Restaurant in Borger, on Saturday, November 5, at 1:00 p.m. All family and close friends are invited. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mark was born September 5, 1956 in Morton, Texas to Orvil Ferdenand Baker, and Hilda Jo Myers Baker. Mark married Suzette Seago, July 9, 1977 in Borger. Mark started his career at Phillips 66 as an operator, and later became an IT specialist. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, and brother who loved his family and friends dearly. Mark was also a talented drummer who loved music. He was a wonderful man who will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Suzette Seago Baker one son Gabriel Mark Baker of Denton Texas one daughter Robin Jo Baker Armstrong and husband Keith of Austin Texas two sisters Linda Meyers of Amarillo, Becky Hunter and husband Mel of Spring Branch, Texas his father and motherinlaw William and JoAn Seago two brotherinlaws Bill Seago and Wife Phyllis Seago, and Larry Seago and wife Deborah.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents and one brotherinlaw, Jimmy Peter.
