Mark DArcy, 55, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 in Borger.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Church of The Nazarene with Pastor Terry Porter, officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. DArcy was born on December 18, 1954 in Bartlesville, OK. Mark graduated from Borger High School in 1973. Mark lived in Amarillo while raising his family from 1981 until 2001 when he returned to Borger. He retired from Santa Fe Railroad after twenty years of service. He had always been active in worship and church services and most recently attended the Church of the Nazarene. Mark will be remembered for his passionate love for God and his sense of humor that he often shared with his friends in the local retirement home.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Robert M. and Betty Jane DArcy also of Borger.
Mark is survived by his daughter Tara DArcy and fianc Bryan Percle of Houston, son Scottye Tanner DArcy of Amarillo, brother Robert M. DArcy of Bakersfield, CA, sister Cindy DArcy Tice of The Woodlands, TX, four nieces, Dondi Morrison, DArcy Ann Henson, Ann Marie Brokaw and Kristi DArcy Cordero.
