Marlene Castleberry

Marlene Frances Castleberry, 60 of Borger went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 20 in Borger. Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Fritch. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Marlene was born March 23, 1960 in Amarillo, TX to Gene and Martha (Donner) Barksdale. She graduated from Amarillo High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fritch. She married James Castleberry Jr on November 26, 1993 in Fritch, TX. She liked to cross stich, looking at Christmas lights, going to church and listening to gospel music and watching crime stories on TV.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving is her husband James. Step Mother Lynda Barksdale of Amarillo. Brother Fred Barksdale of Amarillo and Sisters Charlotte Walls of Branson, Mo; Alyne Conner of Amarillo.
