Marlene Cunningham

Marlene Virginia Cunningham, 81, of Fritch, died Friday, June 5, 2015. Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 9 at Celebration Family Church in Fritch, with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Marlene was born in McCulloch County, Texas to Estel John Lunday and Lila Metts Lunday on January 8, 1934. She married Leon Furgason in 1951, following his death she married Keith Cunningham on October 17, 1972 in Clayton, New Mexico. Marlene loved painting, gardening, pets and especially her grandkid and great-grandkids.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Leon Furgason, second husband Keith Cunningham, her son, Terry Furgason, her sister Lily Rawlins and grandson Dax Robinette.

Marlene is survived by her son, Doyle Furgason and wife, Candy of Canadian; daughter, Sondra Keener and husband, Kevin of Fritch; brother, G.H. Lundy and wife, Ruby of Fritch; sister, Debra Wells and husband, Derrol of Fritch; grandchildren, Lather Furgason and wife, Elizabeth, Cody Furgason and wife, Tera, Brandon Keener and wife Missy, Brittney Keener, Kristy Mansell and husband, Brian, Melissa Burgess and husband, Travis; and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will have a visitation Monday, June 8 at the funeral home in Fritch from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
