In Loving Memory of Marlin Thomas

Marlin Thomas, 80, entered the gates of Heaven on January 14, 2024. He was born on November 18, 1943, in Wheeler, TX, and spent the majority of his life in Borger, TX. Marlin graduated from Borger High School in 1962 and enjoyed working for the local theaters during his youth.

On September 26, 1964, he married the love of his life, Bonnie Harms. Marlin was a people person at heart, especially cherishing the relationships with his customers at Thomas Greenhouse, a business he founded in 1968. Connecting with people and ensuring they felt welcomed brought him immense joy.

Marlin's passion for gardening was infectious, and he shared it generously with everyone he met. His legacy lives on through the thriving plants and the memories of his warm interactions with those he encountered.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie Thomas, and leaves a lasting impact on his daughter Lisa Paulsell and husband Kevin of Borger, and daughter Amy Hoff and husband Tommy of Kansas City. Marlin was a beloved "Pa" to Erica Flannery and husband Jackson, Lauren Dixon and husband Andrew, Sarah Gladney and husband Tyler, Will Paulsell, Zach Mesneak and wife Emily. His  great-grandchildren, David, Liz, Ainsley, Jackson, Grant, Hayes, and Eli, were the apple of his eye.

May Marlin Thomas rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and beauty he brought to this world.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 17, 2023, at Westlawn Memorial Park.
