Marsha Leigh Borders, 61, of Fritch, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 in Amarillo.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Scott Gordon of the Borger ward officiating.Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Marsha Borders was born November 18, 1950 in Decatur, Illinois to Edward Eugene Borders and Ramona Louise Jackson Borders.She was a resident of Fritch since 1996, after moving from Ramona, California.Marsha worked as an Electrical Technician at the Conoco Phillips Refinery for 15 years, and loved showing miniature horses, traveling, camping, hiking, and cooking.Full of charisma and panache, Marsha Borders lived an adventurous life which involved horseback riding, skydiving, and a love for exploring the country of Jamaica. As someone who embodied a Reggae spirit, she was a loving mother, a beloved daughter, and a caring sister that was a true trail blazer.

Survivors include her father, Edward Borders of Sierra Vista, Arizona, her mother, Ramona Borders of Encinitas, California her son Ben Miller of Tamarac, Florida two daughters Sarah Miller of Audubon, Pennsylvania, and Jessica Hill of Denton a sister Ginny Archambault of Ruidoso, New Mexico three brothers Steve Borders of San Marcos, California, Jeff Borders of Kansas City, Missouri, and David Borders of Santa Cruz, California.
