Martha’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit and dedication to her family and career. She carved out a meaningful path over her six years at J.M. Huber, following which she devoted her talents to educating the next generation as a business teacher at Sanford Fritch High School. Her journey then led her to work at Pantex, where she continued to contribute her skills for many years.

She cherished her marriage to Troy Tooms, a loving bond they celebrated for over 62 years since their beautiful union at Phillips Baptist Church on November 23, 1963. Together, they built a family filled with love and support. Their son, Todd Tooms, and his friend Brianna, have carried on this legacy of warmth and kindness, making their home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Martha took immense joy in being a grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Lauren, and the pride she felt for her family was palpable.
Her interests reflected Martha's warmth and creativity. She found joy in cooking and delighting those around her with her culinary skills. Among her treasures, she possessed an affection for Thomas Kinkade paintings, capturing moments of beauty, serenity, and wonder. Additionally, her love for collecting crystal pieces brought a sparkle not only to her home but also to the hearts of those who visited her.
