Martin Terrazas, Sr.

Martin Terrazas, Sr., 53 of Borger passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Wednesday April 20, 2022, at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Borger.

Martin was born September 5, 1968, in Mexico to Alberto and Adela (Hernandez) Terrazas. He has lived in Borger for 29 years. Martin was a pipe fitter and worked in grain elevators and cotton gins. He married Maria Ramirez in 1985 in Mexico. He loved being with his grandchildren, taking care of his animals and fishing.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Alberto and Adela Terrazas; and son, Rene Terrazas.

Survivors include his wife, Maria of Borger; sons, Daniel Terrazas and wife Tiffany of Borger, Martin Terrazas, Jr. and wife Megan Lewis of Fritch; daughter, Marisol Terrazas and husband Ernesto Muro of Amarillo; brothers, Hector Terrazas of Wisconsin, Ubaldo Terrazas of Mexico, Alberto Terrazas, Jr. of Mexico; sisters, Guadalupe Terrazas of Illinois, Susana Terrazas of Illinois, Marielena Terrazas of Mexico; and grandchildren, Eliana, Gabbie, Anabel, Ariana, Blake Aaliyah, Isabella, Elijah and Izabella.
