Mary returned to the work force once her youngest child started school and worked as a RN at the North Plains Hospital Emergency Room. Mary and Jack were active in the Presbyterian Church and enjoyed building their summer cabin in Red River, New Mexico in which they spent many wonderful days with family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Jack in 2001 and her granddaughter Sita Ambrosio in 2006. Mary remained in Borger and benefitted greatly from the support of her friends Sue Hooten, Velma Hood, Leah Buckland, Brenda and Mike Wilson and Paul and Linioel Aleskin. Mary loved her home, her yard, her flowers, her kitties, and her big kitchen window.
