Mary Bernice Lasley, 74, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Monday, November 15, 2021 in St. John Catholic Church with Father Shane Wieck celebrant. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The Rosary will be recited beginning at 5 pm Sunday, November 14, 2021 at St. John Catholic Church. Out of respect for the family please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to St. John Catholic Church or to the Wounded Warrior Association.
Mary was born January 14, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to Bernice Glenn Felker and Mary Bridget Hennesey Felker. Mary proudly served in the United States Navy. She married Cecil Villa Lasley on May 20, 1967 in San Diego, California. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church where she served faithfully. Mary was a member of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW), altar society and the Red Hats Club. She enjoyed crocheting, reading short inspiration books and reading the Bible. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Anne Felker, Michael Felker, Dennis Felker, Barry Felker, and Senan “Bep” Felker.
Survivors include sons, Michael Lasley; daughters, Mary Blackwell and husband John of Fritch, Michelle Richardson and Scotty Richardson of Borger, Barbara Fowler of West Virgina , Bridget Lasley of Borger; grandchildren, Jeremy Ashby and wife Brooke, Allison White and husband Colby, Josh Ashby, Bryson Alexander, Tina Lasley, Clay Neishe, Ashley Scott, Shelly Armer, Ginger Armer, Heather Fowler, Derek Fowler; brothers, Kevin Felker of Amarillo, Ernie Felker and wife, Karen of Borger, Bren Felker of Borger, Tim Felker and wife, April of Amarillo; sister, Sheila Elliott and husband, Mark of Fritch; sister-in-laws, Paula Felker of Borger, Lisa Felker of Fritch, Lynn Indian of Austin; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.
