Mary Palmer

Mary Magdalene Palmer, 92, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in Spearman, Texas

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Palmer was born on September 3, 1917 in Personville, Texas and had been a Borger resident since 1942. She was a retired school cook and a homemaker. Mary married Hubert palmer on December 21, 1935 in Colorado City, TX, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1991. She was also preceded in death by a son Kelley Palmer in 1968, two grandsons Mark Shannon Palmer, four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by two sons Troy Barbara Palmer of Cordell, OK, Coyt Ruth Palmer of Amarillo, three daughters Julia Fortune of Borger, Mona Dees of Mount Home, AR, Mary Shelton of Borger, twelve grandchildren, twentyeight greatgrandchildren and nine greatgreat grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to High Plains Childrens Home.
