Mary Turner

Mary Louise Turner, 71, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018.

The community would like to invite you to a celebration of her life Friday, January 4, 2019 in the Minton Memorial Chapel at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the Borger Animal Shelter, PO Box 5250, Borger, Texas 79008.

Mary was born June 27, 1947 in Vernon, Texas to Muriel Turner and Christine Warren Turner. A staple in the community of Borger, she could often be seen walking around town in her bright orange jacket, she seemed to know everyone. She was a God fearing woman who could always make you smile and laugh. Mary love to sing and loved Patsy Cline. No one had more compassion for dogs than Miss Mary. She always enjoyed talking to children they always made her face light up and a smile fill her face.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; and brother, David Turner.

Survivors include nieces, Tammy Owens, Sherry Adams, Kimberly Smith; nephews, Bobby Dunn, Chris Dunn; sister-in-law, Jean Turner; and a host of extended family.
