Mary Whatley

Mary K. Whatley, 68, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014.Funeral service will be held 10 am Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the Heart and Kidney Foundation.

Mary was born October 23, 1945 in Coleman, Texas to Charles and Katherine Strength. She married Jim Whatley in Pampa on January 11, 1993. Mrs. Whatley was an extremely talented seamstress and loved going to garage sales.

Survivors include her husband, Jim of the home son, C.W. Tomlison of Alamo, Tennessee, daughter Teri Tomlison of Abilene, Jeff Whatley and his wife, Angela of Lefors, Texas, Jason Whatley of Lefors daughters, Jana Whatley and husband, Mike Williams of Plainview brothers, Charles Strength and Donald Strength both of Cross Plains, Texas ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
