Mary Yelton

Mary Purl Yelton, 91, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, at Westlawn Memorial Park.

Mary was born in Dallas County, Missouri on September 21, 1927 to William Wesley and Loma May (Bingham) Jackson. She married Albert Yelton on October 18, 1947 in Oklahoma and they moved to the area in January of 1948. She was a housewife and she loved quilting. Mary was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Lee Yelton.

Mary is survived by her husband, Albert; son Kenneth Yelton and his wife Fay of Stinnett; grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Tammy Hamby and her husband Beau, and Robert Yelton and his wife Brandy; great-grandchildren, Kenna Wright, Dani Wright, Kade Hamby, Emily Yelton, Luke Yelton and Cole Hamby.
