Matthew Clement

Matthew Clement, 67, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Church of Christ at Borger, 1100 Bulldog Blvd.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the funeral home.

Matthew was born April 7, 1954, in Borger to Oliver Clement and Lizzie Irine English Clement.  He was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger.  Matthew enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Lizzie Irine Clement; brothers, L.B. English Clement, Curtis Clement, Sr., W.C. Clement, Aubrey Clement, Waldo Green, Maxie Lee Alexander; and sisters, Glenda Beech and Betty Graves.

Survivors include his daughter, Octavia “Reka” Dickerson and husband Herman of Fort Worth; son, Matthew Clement, II of Grand Prairie; granddaughters, Azasia Dickerson, Natiya Dickerson, Aranyah Dickerson; brothers, Oliver Clement, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Joe Clement of Clovis, Willie Green of Pampa; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
