Maudie Mae Brown, 73, of Sanford, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at her home in Sanford.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 in the Eastlawn Garden at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Visitation will be from 57 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Maudie Mae Brown was born December 2, 1938 in Dexter, Missouri to William Harrison Francis and Lovena Lance Francis. She married Jimmy Brown Sr. August 12, 1969. Maudie was a Baptist and lifetime resident of the Sanford, Borger area. She loved her grandkids, gardening, and her pets.

Survivors include three sons Ronald Kenyon and wife Kathy of Fritch, Jackie Brown and wife Vickie of Amarillo, Jimmy Brown Jr. and wife Tami of Borger two daughters Kimberly Kenyon Parker of Fritch, Christina Brown Nugent and husband Jason of Joplin, Missouri a brother, Robert Francis and wife Glenda of Borger four sisters Wilda Gene McClellan of Auburn Hills, Michigan, Bonita Sue Sargent of Borger, Leota Herin of Borger, Marcella Herin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 16 grandchildren, and 17 greatgrandchildren.

Maudie is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Edyth Brown Sr., August 29, 2012, her son Donald Dewayne Kenyon, parents, and two brothers, Thomas and Roger Dale Francis.
