Max Bryant Hughes, 74, died Thursday, February 8th, 2007 in Borger, Texas.BRBRGraveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Ricky Griffin of Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Interment is under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Hughes was born on August 22, 1932 in Gruver, Tx. and had been a Borger resident since 1941. He was a retired operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. and was a Methodist. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Mary Louise McKinney on September 17, 1955 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She preceded him in death on November 24, 2001. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Donnie Hughes.BRBRHe is survived by one son - Alan Hughes and wife Mary of Fritch, brother - Alfred Hughes of Broomfield, Co., sister - Luvinia Howard of Borger, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
