Max Nicholes

Max Rulon Nicholes, 65 of Borger died Tuesday, December 15th in Spearman, Texas. Services will be 12:30 pm Friday December 18th at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Ammon Weber officiating.
Max was born February 6, 1950 in Provo, Utah to Mary Elizabeth Kane and Max Mabien Nicholes. He has been a Borger resident since 1972. He married Janie Wilson April 8, 1972 in Borger. He loved to tinker, paint and build model train sets.
Max was preceded in death by his parents and a son Harold.
Max is survived by his wife Janie of Borger. Son Joseph and wife Shawn of Fritch. Daughters Katie Nicholes of Borger: Sandy Hinkle and husband Darren of Amarillo. Brothers Kent and wife Carolyn of Wyoming; Bill and wife Lynn of Utah; John and wife Kalyne of Utah; Steven and wife Annette of Utah; Heber and wife Leanne of Las Vegas, NV. Sisters Lynne Coleman and husband Eldon of Utah; Carol Munford and husband Ted of Utah; Joyce Smith and Blain of Utah; Susan Madsen and Kip of Colorado and Debbie Summers and husband Jim of Idaho. Thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
