Maxine P. Smith, 87, died Monday, December 17th, 2007 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Smith was born on February 15, 1920 in Stidham, Oklahoma and had been a Borger resident since 1944. She was a homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Smith in 1977, and two sisters - Ruth Bertholf and Norma Jean Morrison.BRBRShe is survived by three daughters - Yvonne Pickard of Amarillo, Linda Rice of Borger, Bobbie Moyer of Nagel, NM, one brother - Willard Pittman of Muskogee, OK, and four sisters- Ophelia Chester of Council Hill, Ok., Ruby Raines of Warner, OK., Lois Humphreys Bonnie Sever both of Muskogee, Ok., five grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
