Meda Bonny

Meda Bonny, 98, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, April 27, 201 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger,TX with Dr. Russell Miller of Boerne, TX officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Ash Rock Cemetery near her birthplace in Woodston, Kansas.

Meda was born March 30, 1913, in Woodston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis in 1957 and son, Keith in 1974. She married Kenneth Nedrow in 1976 and he preceded her in death in 1988.

Survivors include son, Gene and wife, Judy Bonny of Vancouver, BC, and daughter, Lynda and husband Gary Jackson of Amarillo, stepdaughter, Jeanne and husband Gordon Dettmer of Agra, eleven grandchildren and sixteen greatgrandchldren and many special friends.

Meda made her home with her daughter and soninlaw for the past 15 years. In the past she was church secretary and librarian, and she retired as head of circulation department at the library of the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Odyssey Hospice of Amarillo, Medical Center League House of Amarillo, or your favorite charity would be appreciated.
