Michael Kingham

September 14, 1950 — February 19, 2017

Mike Kingham, 66, formerly of Panhandle passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Lone Star, Texas.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Panhandle Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Michael Lynn Kingham was born September 14, 1950 In Sayre, Oklahoma to Raymond and Janice (Carter) Kingham. He married Sharon Justice April 25, 1969 in Panhandle. They lived in Panhandle, and he retired from Phillips in 2006. They traveled and lived in many places after his retirement.

Such a quiet man of God with a huge heart who loved deeply. He made a huge impact on to all he called family and friends! Mike was a devoted husband, loving father, and a cherished Papa!! Faithful brother and caring uncle.

Mike always said to "live like this is your last day, but plan like you will live forever".

He is preceded in death by his parents, and son Randy Kingham.

Survivors include his wife Sharon; son Wayne Kingham of Amarillo; two daughters Sandy Leggett and husband Mike of Amarillo, Christy Slaten and husband Keith of Canyon; brother Ricky Potts and wife Debbie of Alabama; two sisters Glenda Holt and husband Robert of Panhandle, Belvia Wilkins of Houston; ten grandchildren Kadon and Kyndal Bell, Maggie, Alec, Abby Counts, Molly and Emily Slaten, Taylor and Logan Leggett; three great grandchildren, with one on the way.
