Michael was born September 7, 1955 in Lubbock, TX to William D. and Peggy McCaffree McKerley. He married Sonja Olsen June 1, 1996 in Amarillo at his mother's house. He lived in Fritch 13 years before moving to Borger.
He is survived by his Mother Peggy Novack of Amarillo. Wife Sonja of Borger. Sons Jordan Swindle and Russell Swindle both of Amarillo. Sisters Debbie Mitchell and Corey Fore both of Amarillo.
