Michael Ray Morgan

Michael Ray Morgan, 73 of Panhandle  went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 8, 2024, in Panhandle. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church of Panhandle. Burial will be in the Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. There will be a visitation of family and friends on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Michael was born February 14, 1950, in Clarendon, TX to Truman and Thelma (Owen) Morgan. He married Patricia Ann Karr on December 31, 1981, in Borger. They moved to Panhandle in 1981. He was a welder for Pantex. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served on the finance committee. He loved guns, hunting, fishing and eight ball pool.

Preceding him in death are his parents, wife, daughter Michaela Reane Wyatt, brothers James Morgan and Carl Morgan.

Surviving are his sons Bradley Ray Morgan and wife Beverly of Stratford and Cody Lynn Arnold of Delaware. Daughter Stacy Ann Jones and husband Chris of Beeville, TX. Brothers Tommy Morgan of Proser, Washington and Bobby Morgan of Richland, Washington. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
