Michael Tyree

Michael Carl Tyree, 49 of Fritch passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Borger.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Unity Church in Borger. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. There will be a visitation at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home in Fritch.

Michael was born July 14, 1972, in Washington DC to Leslie and Judy (Brown) Tyree. He married Julia Tice November 22, 2008, in Borger. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He loved fishing and taking trips.

He is preceded in death by his father, uncle Steve Copeland, grandparents Wilma and Elmer Tyree; Nethel and Frankie Brown.

Surviving is his wife Julia. Sons Braden Tyree and Marie of Jacksonville, NC; Judson Tyree of Borger; Jordan McDonald of Norman, OK. Daughters Kyla Tyree, Emily “Fuzzy” Tyree and Hazel Tyree all of Fritch. Brothers Shane Tyree and Michelle of Amarillo; David Tyree and Lisa of Wagner, OK. One on the way grandchild.
