Michael Shane Walser

Michael Shane Walser, 55 of Fritch passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, in Amarillo. There will be a family and friends’ visitation on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Minton Memorial Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and a Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m., Friday May 19, 2023 at Highland Park Cemetery.  Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Shane was born May 4, 1968, in Borger, Texas. He graduated from Fritch High School in 1986. Shane attended Southwestern Oklahoma State, Central Missouri University and Frank Phillips College. He loved playing with remote cars.

Preceding him in death is his sister Teri Walser in 1998.

Surviving is his father, Mike and wife Mara Walser of Celina, Texas; mother, Tresea and husband Jim of Nebo, North Carolina; sister, Cher Walser of Palm Coast, Florida; niece, Hana Walser of Boca Raton, Florida; and stepsisters, Mara Laudi of Austin, Texas and Jael McLean of Cornelius, North Carolina.

The family requested, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or to a charity of your choice.
