Mildred Casey

Mildred "Millie" Nadine Casey, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 am Monday, October 19, 2015 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Les Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Millie was born June 10, 1931 in Comanche, Texas to Odessa (Johnson) and Jessie Purvis. She owned and operated Fairlanes Grocery for 22 years. Millie loved cooking, bowling, her pets, going to the lake, and playing slots. Always loving to laugh and to party, she most enjoyed loving her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and great grandson, Austin Keith.

Survivors include her husband Billy of Borger; son Larry Casey and wife Julie of Borger; daughter Carla Sue Barber and husband Billy of Borger; seven grandchildren: Becky and Robert, Elaine and Rick, Michael and April, Bobby and Amy, Mazie, Kate and Craig, Paul Robert and Erica; sixteen great grandchildren; and sisters Ethel Burleigh of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and LaVera Crownover of Corvallis, Oregon.
