Mildred Duke

Mildred Duke, 88 of Skellytown passed away Friday morning at her home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 12th at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, TX under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
She will lie in state Thursday, January 10th until service time Saturday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Mildred was born February 5, 1930 in Garvin County, Oklahoma to Ivan and Lillian (Peaster) Chandler. She married Ralph Duke December 7, 1947 in Sherman, TX. She retired as a Janitor with Frank Phillips College. She loved to sew, embroider, and crochet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2002, and a sister Inez Rogers.

Surviving is a daughter Barbara Denham of Skellytown; sons, James Duke of Skellytown, and David Duke and wife B. J. of Iowa Park, TX; brothers, Leroy Chandler and Leon Chandler both of Lindsey, OK; sister, Onitea Williams of Anadarko, OK; grandchildren, James Duke II, Bryan Denham , Jeremy Duke, Steven Denham and Christopher Duke; great grandchildren Isabel, Marka, Micha, Jed, Ronnie, Haven, Carsten, Damian, Joah, Job and Lillian.
