Mildred Helen Jasper, 96, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Stinnett Church of Christ with Mr. Ben Willingham and Mr. Rick Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive guests from 5-7 pm on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the funeral home.
Mildred was born the 13th of 15 children, October 15, 1928, in Cooke County, Texas to William Barlow Plumlee and Cassie Arlena Stone Plumlee. She married Clarence Harvey Jasper on July 12, 1975, in Borger. Mildred was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed doing embroidery, shopping including window shopping, making sock monkeys, and spending time with her family. Mildred was a true caregiver spending a lot of her time taking care of kids including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Cassie Plumlee; husbands, Earl “E.E.” Edgar Lawrence and Clarence “Sook” Harvey Jasper; sons, Richard Lawrence, Jerry Lawrence, Eddie Lawrence; and twelve of her siblings.
Survivors include son, Luke Lawrence and wife Debbie of Port O’Connor; daughter, Beth Lawrence of Stinnett; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren, with one due to arrive in June; older sister, Ruth McDonald of Collinsville, Texas; baby sister, Billie June Willingham and husband, Hinkie of Gainesville; and over 1000 blood relatives.
