Milo Steffen

Milo Leslie Steffen, 95, died Friday, August 6, 2010 in Bedford, Texas.

Services will be at 10:00 am. Wednesday at First Christian Church with Rev. Larry Perkins, Pastor and Rev. David Theel, Eulogy. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Mr. Steffen was born outside of Nelsonville, MO, on May 20, 1915 and had been a Panhandle resident since 1962. He married Opal Elizabeth Crouthers in Sikeston, MO on October 2, 1945. He served in the US Navy durring WWII and was in management in the quality support section of the US Atomic Energy Commission. He was a mason, Scout Master of Boy Scouts and a member of Order of the Arrow and member of the First Christian Church in Panhandle.

He is survived by two sons Milo L. Steffen and wife Marian of Fredonia, KS, Gary Steffen and wife Tina of Euless, TX, daughter Mary Ponder of Bedford, TX, nine grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
