Edith Miss Lynn Pruett, 53, died Thursday, September 3, 2009 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor of the First Assembly of God officiating. Interment will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Miss Lynn was born on April 29, 1956 in Kimball, Nebraska and had been a lifetime resident of Borger. She married Cledus Lynn Pruett on November 3, 1990 in Borger. She was a custodian for Borger ISD for nine years. She enjoyed traveling and camping. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Paulson, and sister Ernadine Baddick. Edith is survived by her mother - Helen Branham of Borger, husband Cletus Lynn Pruett of the home, son - Dustin Brice Pruett of San Antonio, daughter - J-Lee Spence of Austin, four brothers - Ben Smith of Torrington, WY, Joe Smith of Gillette, WY, Pete Iverson of Borger, Edwin Paulson of Alexander, AK, six sisters - Hope Burge of Rhome, TX, Pamela Smith of Ft. Smith, AK, Sandra Ridling of Alexander, AK, Verna Beth Clark and Georgia Collins both of Borger, Connie Paulson of Benton, AK, two grandchildren - Caitlin Spence and Kylee Pruett. Memorials may be made to BSA Hospice, Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
