Muriel Margaret White, 94, died Tuesday May 1, 2012 at St. Anns Nursing Home in Panhandle.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel and Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church in Borger with Msgr. Michael Colwell officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. White was born September 10, 1917 in Kansas, OK to Thomas Jackson and Addie Brady Jackson. She has lived in the area for the past 65 years and was very active in her church. Muriel was a very talented oil painter and was a former owner of the Wolflin Village Art Gallery in Amarillo. She was named Fritch Mother of the Year in 1983.
She is survived by her husband Dale, 7 Sons Bobby Holloway of Chapel Hill, TN, Billy Holloway of Oklahoma City, OK, Jerry White of Clinton, TN, Wesley White of Centennial, CO, Paul White of Dewey, OK, Tony White of Amarillo, David White of Denver, CO 7 Daughters Evelyn Merrell of St. Charles, MO, Julie Ray of Utah, Patti Sanders of Amarillo, Kathy Walstead of Amarillo, Debbie Cooper of Fritch, Teri Patton of Amarillo and Paula Henderson of Lubbock 2 Sisters Lucille Galka of Cheyenne, WY and Betty Raye Burda of California 28 Grandchildren, many GreatGrandchildren and several GreatGreatGrandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Dave Walker, Don Wells, Raymond Burr, David Burgett, Daniel Mayberry and Rusty Eckels.
