Nadine Wysong Adams, 89, of Panhandle died in a care facility near her son, in Stephenville, Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Panhandle Cemetery with Rev. Randy Thomas of the Panhandle First United Methodist Church officiating.
Nadine Wysong Adams daughter of Walter Howard Wysong and Edith Elliott Wysong of Fargo, OK, was born September 6, 1926 in Shattuck, OK.
She married Lt. John C. Adams, USAF in 1945, and they resided in Panhandle since 1952. He preceded her in death May 5, 1995.
During World War II, Nadine worked at the Pensacola Naval Air Station and then in New York City for hotel magnate, Paul Marriott.
She was the last original member of the "Thursday Bridge Club".
Nadine is survived by two children and their spouses: John and Jan Adams of Stephenville; Jan and Tom Cammack of Pflugerville; five grandchildren: Angie Adams, Matt Adams (Emily), Lori Morgenroth (Kyle), Adam Cammack, Grace Cammack; five great-grandchildren: Jack Adams, Kate Adams, Kyla Morgenroth, Summer Morgenroth, and Luke Morgenroth.
The family would be pleased to receive memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Panhandle.
