Nancy Mcilroy

Nancy Lorene McIlroy, 74, of Panhandle, died at her home Wednesday, March 20. The family will have a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m., Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Panhandle with Rev. Buddy Payne officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Nancy was born in Bluebell, Oklahoma to U.C and Bernice Wilkerson Reed. She married Dale Lee McIlroy on December 28, 1955 in Wister, Oklahoma. She was an active member of the Builders Sunday School Class and enjoyed being a Red Hatter with her Panhandle friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2009, infant daughter, Janet Lynn a brother Coleman Reed and a sister Carla Knight.

Nancy is survived by her son Dale Lee McIlroy II, and daughter Carla Collier both of Panhandle four grandchildren, Kari Sue Hunt, Jeremy Ryan Collier, Brett Adam Collier and Garrett Lee McIlroy and two greatgrandchildren, Presley Jo Collier and Koelle Hunt.

The family request memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church Piano Fund, P.O. Box 549, Panhandle, Texas 79036.
