Naomi Aliece Briggs Keller, 93, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Fairlanes Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Burwash, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens in Pampa under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Naomi was born May 10, 1922 in Ochelata, Oklahoma to Ocie and Cora (Chair) Briggs. She was a proud registered Cherokee Indian. Naomi was the desk clerk at Cedar Lanes Bowling Alley. She loved to bowl, and was on a winning bowling team at the age of 92 she placed in doubles with Janet and won singles by herself. Naomi enjoyed doing needle point and was lovingly known as the card lady that sent cards to everyone when they needed encouragement. She had a wonderful smile. Naomi was an awesome grandmother and loved her kids and grands. Naomi loved to travel - anywhere!
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Lee "Jack" Keller; three brothers; a sister and a great-great grandson.
Survivors include her sons, Larry Joe Keller of San Antonio; daughters, Cora Lee Keller Childress of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Janet Aliece Keller Parks and husband, Keith, who was Naomi's rock; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Briggs of Nowata, Oklahoma, Dean Briggs of Garden City, Kansas, Paul Briggs of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Earl Dale Briggs of LeHarpe, Kansas; and sister, Lorene Wilson of St. Mary's, Kansas.
Memorials can be made in Naomi's name to Hospice Care of the Southwest.
