Neal Richmond

Neal Turner Richmond was born on July 13, 1964, in Amarillo, Texas, to loving parents, Billie Turner Richmond and Jimmy N. Richmond. Neal passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at his home in Frisco, Texas

He was a graduate of Richardson High School and earned a BA in History from University of Texas at Dallas. After graduation, Neal spent 25 years working with Dwight's Energydata (IHS), before joining Bank of America where he celebrated his fifth anniversary in April 2017.

Neal placed his family and friends above everything else. He will always be remembered because he never forgot to send a family member a birthday or anniversary card. He never missed. His constant companion was his Sheltie named Hook ‘em. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Texas Longhorns, Texas Rangers and Frisco Rough Riders. He was also an enthusiastic history buff - no matter the topic. Neal was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Frisco and enjoyed his volunteer work with Special Olympics.

He is survived by his brother, J. Pat Richmond, and his wife, Vicky; his sister, Karon Richmond Franklin, and her husband, Scott; and his sister, Paula Reese Gause, and her husband, Ringo. He is also survived by his nephew, Patrick Richmond; his niece, Annie Richmond McLaughlin, and her husband, Paul; his niece, Emily Reese Mathies and her husband Rick; and his nephew, Cole Franklin and his wife, Katie.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Friday August 18, at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Home, 314 S. Hedgecoke Street, Borger, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, at First United Methodist Church, 420 W. Sixth Street, Stinnett, Texas.
