Ned Laybourne

PBorger P PNed Robert Laybourne, 53, died Wednesday in Amarillo. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Faith Covenant Church with Pastor Les Sharp officiating. Services are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. P P PNed was born on April 6, 1956 in Columbus, OH to George and Gail Laybourne. He married Lynn Raddatz on November 1, 1980 in Barrington, IL. They moved to Borger 2 years ago from Martinez, CA. Ned loved sports, coaching volleyball in CA, playing golf and teaching Awana games for children. He had recently become a member of Faith Covenant Church. He worked at Conoco Philips as Maintenance and Reliability Manager. P P
His survivors include his wife Lynn, of the home; his parents George and Gail Laybourne of Orlando, FL; a son Erik Laybourne of San Diego, CA; 2 daughters Rebekah McMenamin husband Daniel of Martinez, CA and Sarah Laybourne of Davis, CA; a brother Neal Laybourne and wife Leisa of Vermont and a sister Nan Klaschus and husband Irv of Orlando, FL.
