Nelda O. Webb, 76, a former resident of Panhandle, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Panhandle with Rev. Buddy Payne, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Mrs. Webb was born on April 2, 1935 in Paradise, Arizona. She had been a Panhandle resident from 1956 to 1999 when she moved to Amarillo. She was retired from Bell Helicopter and member of the Red Hat Club and Christian Motorcycle Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband L.R. Buddy Webb in 2002, and greatgranddaughter Skylya Phillips in 2008.
Mrs. Webb is survived by four daughters Janell Britten Sharp and husband Steve of Melissa, TX, Janene Sherman of Amarillo, Janece Harvey and husband Charles of Conway, Janette Zamora and husband Gilbert of Amarillo, brother Garland Wimberly of Hobbs, NM, ten grandchildren Lonny Britten and wife Lisa, Bobby Britten and wife Kim, Ronna Ponsonby, Michelle Sherman, Melissa Sherman, Renae Brown and husband Dub, Sideanna Harvey, Jessica Zamora, Jeremy Zamora and wife Glenda, Geoffrey Zamora and wife Sunny, and fifteen greatgrandchildren.
The family will be staying at 7402 Dreyfuss in Amarillo.
