Neoma Weatherford

Neoma Fae Weatherford, 87, died Wednesday September 17, 2014 in Amarillo. Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Stinnett Church of Christ with Zeb Sailors, minister and Fred Riley, Jr. minister. Burial will follow at Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Weatherford was born July 16, 1927 in Tulia, Texas and has lived in Stinnett for the past thirtyone years. She was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ and loved her family gatherings. She married Carman O. Weatherford November 4, 1944 in Dalhart, he preceded her in death in 1996.

Survivors include her son Mike Weatherford and his wife Karen of Stinnett, six daughters Pat Robinson and her husband Jack of Anna, TX, Ann Ingle of Edmond, OK, Teresa Shelly and her husband Willie of Keys, OK, Barbara Brooks and her husband Wendell of Burnet, TX, Gwen Strain and her husband Jack of Goodwell, OK, Cheryl Couch and her husband Slim of Goodwell, OK, 14 Grandchildren, 30 GreatGrandchildren and six GreatGreatGrandchildren.

The Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Neoma Weatherford Memorial Fund for transplants for two of Neomas grandchildren at either Stinnett or Borger Interbank P. O. Box 1267, Stinnett, TX 79083 or 531 N. Deahl St., Borger, TX 79007.
