Nilse Broaddus

Jean Broaddus, 83, passed away Monday, December 8, 2015.

Memorial service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Celebration Family Church in Fritch with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating.

Jean was born April 28, 1932 to Annie (Hearst) and Joseph Johnson Dyess. She enjoyed embroidery, watching soap operas and visiting with friends and family. Nothing brought more joy to her life than being with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jerald Wayne Broaddus; and eleven siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Dawn Murrell of Fritch; son, Jeffery Levi Broaddus of Fritch; step-son, Jackie Broaddus of Fort Worth; step-daughter, Joan Ward of Fritch; six grandchildren, Angela, Jeremy, Falisha, Shane, Brandi, Jerad; eight great grandchildren, Jesse, Chrisy, Jolie, Xavier, Justin, Brandon, Jaydy, K'leigh; two great-great grandchildren, Dayton, Emma; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.
