Norma Vaughan

Norma L. Vaughan, 86, of Fritch, Texas was called home from her sleep on Friday, December 29, 2006 in Borger, Texas. No Services are scheduled. Norma was born December 3, 1920 in Alameda, California to James and Josephine Prentiss. She is the mother of Barbara of Washington State. She graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1939, Sacramento Junior College School of Nursing in 1955, and earned her Masters of Science degree from California State University at Chico in 1962. Norma practiced health occupations as a surgical and psychiatric Registered Nurse in Colorado and California, and a Public Health Nurse in California and New Mexico. She moved to Texas in 2005 after 18 years in Pismo Beach, California. Survivors include 1 Daughter, Barbara Vaughan of Bellingham, Washington, 3 Grandchildren - Tina Chavez of Fritch, Texas, Lisa Okoro of South Carolina, and Charles Lamkin Jr. of Fritch. She will be held in loving memory by 7 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Step Great Great Grandson. Norma follows her parents, brothers, Roy and Ed, and son, Wayne to heavenly rest.
