Norman Holmes, Jr., 88, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Conny Moore officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Norman was born August 9, 1928 in Belleville, Kansas to Novilla and Norman Holmes, Sr. He proudly served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. Norman enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; daughters, Norma Whitfield of Borger, Denise Johnson of Seattle, Washington; two grandsons, Corey Youso and wife Leighann, Michael Amberg; and five great grandchildren.
