Norman Keith

Life for Norman Glenn Keith began on Dec. 30, 1927 in Hoopeston, IL. At the age of 82, on March 12, 2010 he went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Glenn Keith and mother Edith Warner Keith. Norman married Esther Maude Hollaway on June 19, 1983 at the First Assembly of God in Amarillo.

Norman proudly served in WWII from19451947, in the United States Marine Corps. He loved his Pawnee and Choctaw Indian heritage and enjoyed attending Indian ceremonies. In 1993 he was adopted into the Apache tribe for being a warrior during WWII. Norman was an aviation enthusiast, and enjoyed flying WWII planes. His hobbies included gold panning, rebuilding airplanes and aerobatics. Normans career included his military service and 34 years in public transportation.

Norman is survived by wife, Esther Maude Keith of Stinnett, TX, brother Ivan Keith and wife Bobbie Keith of Bloomingdale, IN. Step children, Charles and Brenda Martin, Charles and Sandra Gilmore, Dale and Shellie Stevens all of Stinnett, TX, Michael and Cindy Ricci of Vineland, NJ Grandchildren, Frank and Monica Garcia, Cory and Felicia Lee, Billy Gilmore, Jon and Ansley Garcia, Sam Sigler , Elizebeth Stevens, Christopher and Amber Mowery, Paul and Amanda Haberman, Christopher Sigler and Brice Martin. Great grandchildren, Megan Garcia, Christian Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Nicole Mowery, Colton Don Lee, and Daegon Mowery.

The family will be gathering at 1120 Morse in Stinnett around 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Memorial service will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00am at The First Assembly of God, 500 McKensie Stinnett, TX. Cremation arranagements are under direction of MintonChatwellFuneral Directors of Borger.
