Nrva Garlington

Nrva Jean "Bobbie" Garlington was able to be united with the love of her life and Heavenly Father on May 28, 2018. Bobbie was born on July 27, 1941 in Borger, Texas to Jessie and R.T. "Dick" Roberts. She grew up in Stinnett, TX and lived most of her life in the Texas Panhandle.
Bobbie worked many years at Dairy Queen in Borger, before moving on to several auto parts stores until going to work at Borger ISD - a job she loved. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger. Bobbie fought a long and hard battle with Alzheimer's disease, but during that battle she had great care by many talented nurses as well as "her" doctor Kevin Sieck. Many that knew her, know she was a very loyal friend, a wonderful mom, but nothing better than "MeMe" to her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Billy John, William Thomas and Sammy Roberts, a special niece Debbie Middough Wheeler, a great grandson, Carder Tate Brown, a great granddaughter, Ariyanna Schreiter and the love of her life Timothy Wayne Garlington. She was also preceded by her in-laws, Lucille and Bluford Garlington, and brother-n-laws, James Garlington and Bill Smith.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter Christie Eads and husband, Eldon of Pampa, TX; sons, Bruce Estep and wife, Carmen of McCloud, Ok, Terry Estep and wife, Karen of Fayettville, NC, and Tony Estep and wife, Carrie of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Gail Whiteley and husband, Dave of Borger TX; step-son, Wade Garlington and wife, Velvet of Williams, AZ; step-daughter, Robyn Garlington of St. Charles, MO; seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; adopted 2nd daughter, Melodie Fleming and husband, Art of Pampa, TX; sisters, Sue Miller and husband Charlie of Olney, TX, Anna Pearl "Ann" Smith of Murfeesboro, TN, and Henrietta "Hedy" Church of Fritch, TX; brother, Dody Roberts of Los Lunas, NM; brother-in-law, Reggie Garlington and wife, Angie of Skellytown, TX; sisters-in-law, Tonya Parker and husband, C.O. of Borger, TX, and Charlotte Garlington of Rockwell, TX; And her life time special friends, Rita Schoenhals of Fritch, TX, Sharon Porter and Jackie Galentine, all of Sanford, TX.

Services for Bobbie will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Highland Baptist Church of Pampa, with Pastor Bobbie Bridges of Fellowship Baptist Church and Pastor Paul Nachtigall of Highland Baptist Church of Pampa. Burial will follow at the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
