Nyssa Stowell

Nyssa Marie Stowell, 25, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at St. Andrew Methodist Church in Borger.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of Pampa under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home in Fritch. In lieu of flowers please honor her memory by doing an act of kindness for someone.

Nyssa was born November 14, 1996 in Plano, Texas to Troy Thomas Stowell and Katherine Denise Washer Stowell.  She graduated from Sanford Fritch High School in 2018.  Nyssa was a lover of music in all its various genres.  She especially loved Blake Shelton, Fleetwood Mac, Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi, and the organ at church. Nyssa was a percussionist at heart.  She enjoyed attending Tri-City concerts and watching the Grand Ole Opry.

Welcoming her into heaven were her father, Troy Stowell; and grandmother, JerrylDine Washer.

Survivors include her mother, Katherine Denise Stowell of Fritch; grandparents, Pete Washer of Fritch, Dalton Stowell and wife Cindi of Garland, Rita Pfeil and husband Tom of Frisco; aunts and uncles, Doug Washer of Fritch, Deborah Soderstrom and husband Rick of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Chris Washer and wife Nicole of Aubrey, Texas, Sara Cunningham and husband Chris of Frisco; and cousins, Mary Washer, Mark Washer, Michael Washer, Cameron Cunningham, Kendal Cunningham, Camille Soderstrom, Naomi Soderstrom, and Leah Soderstrom.
