Onie Dee Shadid Hanes, 85, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in Amarillo.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p..m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Gregg Simmons, Pastor of Memorial Rd Grapevine Memorial Baptist Church in Irving, Tx. officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Beatitudes at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Haynes was born on June 7, 1923 in Wellington, TX. and had lived in Borger since 1948 and the last three years in Amarillo. She married Dr. George Shadid on May 4, 1940 in Sayre, OK and he preceded her in death in 1994. She married Johnny Haynes in March, 1995. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her son - Victor Mac Shadid and sister -Ester Pearl Burns.BRBRShe is survived by her husband Johnny Hanes of the Home, three daughters - Rhonda Shadid and husband Charles Moschera of Ashburn, VA, Nannette McMurry and husband Tony of Shawnee, OK, Georgann Goldston and husband Dr. Hugh of Borger, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Casket Bearers will be Anthony Shadid, Damon Shadid, Shad Goldston, Matt McMurry, Charlie Hastings, Bo Neichoy and Donny Paul McKinney.BR
