Otis Deffibaugh, 88, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 in Ft. Worth, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Neville Buchanan, Minister and Mr. Richard Kasko, Minister of Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBROtis was born on August 5, 1920 in Paola, Kansas and had been a Borger resident for 81 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger. He had been a deacon for the Johnson Park Church of Christ and was a past master of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355. He retired in 1980 as a stillman for Phillips Petroleum Co. He served in the US Army Air Force as a Staff Sargent. He married Gayle Reed on March 13 ,1945 in Wichita Falls, TX and she preceded him in death on February 24, 2008.BRBRHe is survived by his daughter - Gaylene Hagler and husband David of Fritch, brother - Robert Deffibaugh of Sherman, TX, sister - Patricia Washburn of San Marcos, TX, granddaughter - Kelly Gayle Livingston husband Jasen of Naples, Florida and two great-grandchildren - Anna Gayle J.J.
