Pat Monden

Pat Monden, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017.

Funeral service will be 3 pm Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Stinnett with Rev. Tom Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the First United Methodist Church of Stinnett, P.O. Pat was born April 17, 1937 in Childress, Texas to Jewell and Lewis (Tince) Burns. She married Johnny A. Monden, Sr. on June 30, 1956 in Stinnett. She worked at First National Bank, Eubanks Trucking, RD Trucking and was a hairdresser. Some of her favorite memories were High School basketball, cheerleading and when her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were born. Pat liked to sing in the choir, knit and sew.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny (J.A.) Monden, Sr.; daughter, Lisa Monden; sisters, Linda Farmer, Glenda Burns and brother, Lewis (Buddy) W. Burns II.

Survivors include her son, Johnny A. Monden, Jr and wife Connie of Stinnett; daughter, Lori Orr and husband Steve of Stinnett; three grandchildren, Alis Stewart and husband Will, Chase Orr, Sean Orr; and five great grandchildren, Hayden, Lushon, Whitley, Conner and Ella.
