Patricia E. Atkins, 82, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in Amarillo.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Stinnett with Tommy Batson, Deacon, officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.BRBRMrs. Atkins was born on January 3, 1927 in Avant, Oklahoma and had been a Fritch resident for 29 years. She married Quinn Atkins on February 6, 1949 in Borger and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a bookkeeper for Lindsey Furniture in Borger. Patricia loved fishing, traveling, reading and working puzzles.BRBRShe is survived by two daughters - Teresa Doughty and husband Ralph of Fritch, Marla Bales and husband Terry of Moore, OK, two sister s- Margaret Howard of Amarillo, Barbara Cribbs of Clayton, WA, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.BRBRMemorials may be made to BSA Hospice, Box 950, Amarillo 79105. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Friday night at MintonChatwell in Fritch.
