Pat Sterling Hopper, 70, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in Amarillo.

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bill Sizemore of Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Cremation is under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Pat was born on April 20, 1941 in Borger to Floyd Emily Sterling. She graduated from Borger High School in 1959. Pat married Waudell Hopper in Borger on September 5, 1959. They lived in Albuquerque, NM for 32 years and moved to Fritch in 1992. She was the football booster secretary in Albuquerque and ran the concession stand a lot. She was an avid collector of hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Fay Sterling in 2006.

Pat is survived by her father Floyd Sterling of Borger, husband Waudell Hopper of the home, two sons Keith W. Hopper and wife Kristie of Vacaville, CA, Kevin W. Hopper and wife Fran of Albuquerque, NM, two sisters Shirley Hammack and husband Paul, and Sharon Looney and husband Brian all of Fritch and one grandson Jonathan Hopper of Vacaville, CA.
